Kayla, Jae, and Khari [Naperville, IL Family and Child Photographer]

Kayla came to me with the idea of a session that celebrated motherhood, the strength and bravery it takes to raise these little people and I couldn't wait. We actually rescheduled this three times to get the perfect day, as a sunny evening in this magical little spot full of wildflowers is really when it shines.

As we packed up that day, Kayla said something that gave me chills - she said "I'm proud to be a mother. I take this responsibility so seriously. It is what defines me and I am honored by it." What a beautiful way to look at this journey she's on as a mother. I'm not a mother myself, but I know that it's not for the faint of heart. My goal was to capture the strength and the softness that all women have inside them, and I am really proud of this session. I hope you love it too!
