The S Family [Solon, IA Family and Child Photography]

I met the gorgeous S Family out at Lake MacBride a couple of weeks ago where we got to spend a beautiful fall evening taking photos, hunting for bugs, and throwing rocks in the water. Ayden and Cole are so darn cute, and their parents Kelli and Eric are so fun and sweet. We love these guys!

The C Family [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

It is always a complete joy to photograph this family! Not only are Jenn and Bill super kind and fun to chat with, but Reese LOVES the camera (and it loves her too!). We had a great time hanging out with these three and capturing some photos of their family to document Reese's 4th year but also Jenn and Bill's upcoming wedding anniversary!

Lachlan [Iowa City, IA Family + Newborn Lifestyle Photography]

I first photographed this family back when Laine was just a few months old, and have gotten to know them over the past couple of years and just adore them. I was so excited to return to their home this time to photograph their newest addition, a cutie pie baby boy named Lachlan! Miss Laine is so excited about the new baby, it was really fun to watch her in her new role as big sister.

Congratulations to Eric, Stacy, and Laine (oh, and Harvey, can't forget the big guy!!) on the new addition to their family! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek. :)

Sara + Luke [Iowa City, IA Engagement Photography]

Sara and Luke are planning a June 2015 wedding here in Iowa City, and we had the absolute best time at their engagement session on Saturday evening. I love the mix of both urban and nature, and we ended up with the prettiest evening light (which lit the sky up to match their outfits, funnily enough!). They also incorporated their sweet pup Henry, is he not the cutest thing ever?!

Sara and Luke - thank you SO much for choosing us to photograph your wedding and engagement. It was a blast hanging out with you guys on Saturday and we can't wait until June!

Cheryl + Tyler [Iowa City, IA Hotel Vetro Wedding Photography]

Cheryl and Tyler were married on a pretty typical August day in Iowa (though not typical for this year) - hot and humid! Despite the heat, the sun was shining and Cheryl and Tyler had an absolutely beautiful wedding. They were married at the First United Methodist Church downtown with their reception at Hotel Vetro.

The day began at the hotel, which is probably the best place in Iowa City to get ready for the beautiful light that pours into the rooms! I highly recommend. ;)

My favorite thing about the day was seeing Cheryl and Tyler together, they are just so incredibly sweet!! We've all become friends over the past several months, and so being a part of their day not only as their photographer, but their friend was such an honor.
