Bristol: 1 Year [Humboldt, IA Family and Child Photography]

A couple of weeks ago I made the trek up to my parent's house and met up with my sister Bri, her husband Colby, and their daughter Bristol who is one year old today! Happy birthday little lady! We kept the session pretty short since it's was shockingly cold that day. Bristol loved her balloons and it was fun to see her again, it had been awhile for me!

I have to admit, it is strange for me to see my baby sister pregnant, but I am SO beyond thrilled to be an aunt and I can't wait until BriAnne and Colby's baby girl joins our family in mid September. I was home to co-host a joint baby shower this weekend (another younger sister of mine is also expecting in November, it's a regular baby boom!!), and we took advantage of the beautiful weather to take maternity photos in my parents' backyard. It was a beautiful night (despite the typical accident prone Bohan shenanagins, of course), and of course - my sister is stunning. I don't think I've ever seen her look so happy, she was positively glowing.

Bri and Colby - I'm so very happy for you guys, and I can't wait to meet baby girl very soon. I love you both, and I hope your love continues to grow as your family does.
