Megan and Adam had a gorgeous Sunday afternoon last weekend for their engagement photos at Kent Park, and we had so much fun laughing and talking about life and wedding plans. These two are both pharmacists (Adam is currently doing his residency and Megan is out in the working world in Davenport) and super smart, as well as completely adorable together (as you can see). They are planning a wedding in Cedar Rapids next July, and I am thrilled to be a part of their day!

Libby + Adam [Iowa City, IA Engagement Photography]
Wow, my blog is exploding with new sessions these days! I hope you all don't mind. ;) Libby and Adam were engaged in gorgeous Napa Valley (man I would move there in a heartbeat, love that place!!) and are planning a June 2014 wedding at Bella Sala. I had such a fabulous time hanging out with these two last Friday night, engagement sessions are the best not only to get some beautiful photos, but to get to know each other prior to the wedding day.
We started the session downtown on a gorgeous September evening this past Friday, followed by Iowa River Power (one of my favorites spots, as it's always changing!). I can't tell you how many times I said "cute" or "gorgeous", it's a bad habit of mine, but I promise I only say it when it's true!! I told Libby and Adam that I would try and get some new adjectives prior to their wedding day. These two are so sweet together, and so much fun to photograph - truly I had the most fabulous time.

Bristol [Odebolt, IA Newborn Photography]
This year, I have been looking forward to September as my sister BriAnne and her husband Colby were expecting the first niece on my side of the family. I was so thrilled when their baby girl was born on September 23rd, and I had the opportunity to visit the little cutie when she was just 4 days old. Bristol wasn't too sure about her photo debut, as she was still getting used to this big wide world, but she did a great job, and we plan on doing a lifestyle session once BriAnne is feeling more like herself. ;)
So, I am proud to introduce Miss Bristol Quinn, the prettiest baby I ever did see (and yes, I am biased...). Love this little girl!! Congratulations again to Bri and Colby, I love seeing your little family grow, and I am thrilled to be an aunt!
