Laura + Jon-Michael [Iowa City, IA Engagement Photography]

Laura and Jon-Michael are planning an October 2014 wedding at Sutliff Cider in Lisbon, IA. I am so excited to be documenting their big day - these two are a ton of fun! We took their engagement photos on a windy Sunday, beginning at the Devonian Fossil Gorge, swinging by the University of Iowa track (Jon-Michael is on the track team), and finishing at the movie theater (they met while working at a movie theater).

These two are very sweet together, make each other laugh easily, and we had a ton of fun hanging out with them. Their level of comfort around each other made my job so easy, and I am very much looking forward to their wedding day. I also appreciate their creativity - the locations they chose for this session were all new for me, which I loved!

Quinn + The L Family [West Des Moines, IA Child and Family Photography]

I can't believe Quinn is turning 1 - her actual birthday is today, so everyone wish her a happy first birthday!! :)

Nicole and James have some of the cutest kids EVER. I think I may steal Oliver someday, but shh, let's keep that a secret for now. ;) Oliver was under the weather the day we did Quinn's cake smash, so I swung by the following weekend since I was in Des Moines anyways to take a few more photos of the entire family.

Huxley [Fort Dodge, IA Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

My cousin Nicole and her husband Jordan welcomed an adorable baby boy named Huxley Charles on October 25th. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph the little guy, I just love him!! He was a great model throughout the session, and hello - does Nicole not look fabulous? I can't believe she just had a baby a week earlier in these photos. She is amazing.

Nicole and Jordan - it was so great getting to see you guys, and for the opportunity to photograph sweet Huxley. He is perfect, and it is wonderful seeing you all so happy. Congratulations again!!































Huxley's grandma bought him this hat, it just kills me. Lol.
