Ellie: 1 Year [Coralville, IA Child and Family Photography]

I truly cannot believe Ellie is turning one soon! It just seems crazy, like I photographed her as a newborn just a few months ago! Time flies, I guess. :)

Anyways, Ellie's one year session took place at their home on a windy, rainy Sunday just over a week ago. This little peanut is SO darn cute, I can hardly stand it! I love all of her hair, and she was loving hanging out with her reflection in the mirror. It was pretty adorable.

Elizabeth and Eric, thank you so much for choosing me to come back and photograph Ellie's one year milestone!! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you guys better, and I hope you like this sneak peek!

Tia + Austin [Iowa City, IA Engagement Photography]

Tia and Austin are planning a July 2014 wedding, and I'm sure after experiencing a windy November engagement, I'm sure they're looking forward to the sun and warmth an Iowa summer brings. :)

These two officially met on a bus, though Tia had heard about Austin before - she had never officially met him until that bus ride. Later, they connected via Facebook and chatted for hours. Now, these two are engaged after Austin popped the question this fall. One thing I love about Tia and Austin is how comfortable they are with each other - honestly I thought they'd known each other most of their lives.

As you can see from the photos, these two are adorable together - I just love the smile that lights up Tia's face around Austin, and you can tell by the way he looks at her that the feeling is mutual. I am so excited to photograph their big day next summer!

Tia and Austin - You two are so sweet, I just loved spending the morning with you guys last weekend! I hope you enjoy the preview. :)

Life via Instagram: Fall 2013

I haven't posted one of these in awhile! Life has been hectic since I went full time in September - fall was full of weddings, new nieces being born, and traveling quite a bit. More coming on all of that later, but for now - a little taste of what I've been up to the past couple of months (besides taking photos of course!).
