Sarah + Sam [Coralville, IA Brown Deer Golf Club Wedding]

Sarah and Sam were married on a very warm, but gorgeous September day at the Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City, surrounded by their family and friends. I absolutely loved listening to their ceremony, performed by a pastor friend of theirs from California where they now reside. It was really wonderful to hear about Sarah and Sam, and how they choose to live their lives in service of others and what big hearts they both have.

The reception followed, at Brown Deer Golf Club, where some amazing toasts were given by family and friends after dinner, followed by a packed dance floor (courtesy of Sam's awesome wedding playlist and a friend DJ-ing). It was truly a fantastic night, and I was honored to be a part of their day!  I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.

Marcie, Chris, Vivian, Everett, and Jonathan: Day in the Life [Marion, IA Family and Child Lifestyle Photography]

A week and a half ago I went to Marion and joined the W family on a Sunday morning for their day in the life session. Marcie and Chris have a beautiful home, and we enjoyed the fall like weather with popcorn on their porch, and playing in the backyard doing some of their favorite things (playing ball, feeding the birds, and hunting for locust shells among the trees just to name a few). I had so much fun hanging out with this family, and a day in the life session is the perfect way to capture your family just as they are in the moment.
