This session was one of those where everything works out so perfect - the weather was beautiful, fall leaves were turning, and add this adorable family...so. much. goodness. Their little guy Caleb was pretty much a perfect baby model, his smile was on point every time and we sailed through the session super fast. The B Family [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

This family is always so much fun, I look forward to seeing them every year!! Laughlin has gotten so big since I did his newborn photos last year, and Laine has turned into such a big girl! This session included a lot of laughter, as Harvey took a dip in the lake and the bugs were insane, but we had a fabulous time.

Fall somehow turned into winter (though it still feels like fall, yay!) and I have been super busy photographing so many lovely families. Since I'm finally getting time to blog again, I figured I'd start where I left off!

Andrea, Jake, and their little guy Lance met me at the lake on a beautiful fall evening and we had a great time playing in the leaves and doing goofy things trying to get Lance to laugh. Here are a few of my favorites!
