Beckett [Iowa City Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Baby Beckett is such a little sweetie, joining big brother Grayson along with Ashley and Jack at their home in Iowa City. I photographed Grayson when he was turning one, so again, it was such a great time getting to hang out with them again once Beckett arrived. Thanks again to Kayla Jones for the gorgeous hair and makeup on Ashley, and for assisting with the shoot.

Henry [Iowa City Lifestyle Newborn Photographer]

I first met Megan and Tom when their son Jack was around one year old - we had a lovely photo session out at Fossil Gorge. I was beyond thrilled when they emailed to say that they were expecting baby #2 and wanted me to take the newborn photos. Henry is just precious, seriously, and was just a perfect model the entire shoot. How gorgeous is this baby boy?!? Made my job so easy.

Funny story from going to their session, I pulled up to their home and had to laugh - it used to be the home of another client of mine. Small world, I guess! Hair and makeup by the talented Kayla Jones.

Anyways, as usual I am behind on the blog - but I did want to share a handful of my favorite images from Henry's photo debut. I hope you enjoy!

Abby + Travis [Iowa City, IA University Club Wedding]

Abby and Travis were married on a nearly perfect May day...we only ran into a bit of rain (or the guys did at least!) during the getting ready portion over in Coralville. The ladies stayed dry in Iowa City, which worked out perfectly because they planned on walking to the historic Trinity Episcopal Church.

Kind of a funny story for the day, I forgot that Abby had mentioned that Travis had a twin brother... who just happened to be in the hotel lobby while we were taking some photos of the girls (before the first look). I was having a bit of a freak out moment, wondering why no one else seemed to be making a big deal about the groom seeing her before the scheduled first look when it dawned on me. I may have had a mini panic attack!

These two had a beautiful ceremony, and a fantastic reception full of toasts, laughter, and dancing. It was such an honor to be chosen to document their day! I hope you enjoy this sneak peek.
