The S Family: Father & Son Lifestyle Session [Iceland Lifestyle Photographer]

Ok, wow, I can barely believe it's been so long since my trip to Iceland! It feels like I was just there, but I definitely have been itching for another trip somewhere soon. This was one of the lifestyle sessions we did while there - James and Hudson modeled for us on a black beach surrounded by greenery, rocks, and a beautiful lighthouse (which you'll see more of in a future post of an engagement type session we also did here!). This was a lot of fun to photograph, and I felt very much in my element with this session. I just love capturing the natural interactions between parents and their children, and how cute is Hudson's little Icelandic sweater? He had no fear, climbing and running to the water's edge. I don't know how he wasn't freezing after getting his feet and bum wet sitting on the edge throwing rocks in, but he was loving every minute.

The B Family: Day in the Life [Naperville Lifestyle Photographer]

So many Day in the Life sessions lately you guys, and my heart is exploding with happiness! For the B family's Day in the Life, Stacy joked that a real day would be trying to shop at Target with two kids in tow, or maybe grocery shopping on a busy Saturday. Yikes! Well, instead of that adventure, they chose to bake cookies with the kiddos (Lachlan ate most of the dough - kid after my own heart!) and carve the pumpkins that they would set out for Halloween. We also spent a little time in the backyard, sadly it was too chilly to be out there for long! Here are some highlights from their session!

The B Family [Naperville Family and Child Photographer]

This was my first time meeting the sweet, adorable B family and their session was a blast. I have had so many great families this year, and I love meeting all these fun, new clients! Also, can we take a moment to talk about how cute Zia is? I just love her little sherpa vest - why are kids clothes so cute now and when I was growing up I wore the WORST stuff? (Sorry mom!) Anyways, we had their session at one of my favorite places, and it was just perfect with the leaves starting to change as a backdrop. Here are some of my favorites!
