My brother and his wife Ashley had an adorable baby boy in November, and I got a sweet, cuddly new nephew! So, after Thanksgiving I made the trek up to see this little guy and take some photos before he grows too much. He did great, and we got a nice variety of eyes open and sleepy photos. Which do you prefer? I like them both, but the wide eyed shots are always my favorite! I can't wait to snuggle this little guy in a few days at Christmas!

Announcing: Let Them Be Little Mini Sessions! [Iowa City, IA Child Portrait Photography]

I am SO excited to be blogging about this!! I am offering mini sessions for a few dates this winter and I cannot WAIT! These are 15 minute sessions designed to capture your little ones in a classic portraiture style, with a lifestyle twist that showcases each child's individual personality.

Have more than one little? As you will see below, I also take a few photos of all the kiddos together. Best part? Multi-child discount AND an early bird special!

The mini session dates are January 14th and February 4th. Session fee is $150, with $50 off if you book before December 31st! Have more than 1 kiddo? Each additional kiddo is $75.

Session fee includes a 15 minute session and 10 black and white images with rights to print!

*Children must be able to sit unassisted, and session is for children 10 or under. Early bird special applies to first session only, as multi child discount is already applied to additional session fees.

Iceland Lifestyle Beach Session [Iceland Engagement Photographer]

While I was in Iceland this summer with Study Abroad Workshops, we did a few different shoots in gorgeous locales in Iceland. This black, rocky beach was in Rekjavik, and our two models Josef and Raquel were so much fun! The goal of the session was to capture real moments, rather than posed, and despite the fact that these two did NOT know each other prior to modeling for us they made our jobs very easy! Josef has a great, engaging smile, and Raquel has great style and a unique beauty. Here are some of my favorites!
