The C Family [Naperville Family Photographer]

I met with the C family at their beautiful home to take photos celebrating Ava's 3rd birthday last month. Ava was a fantastic model (how gorgeous are those blue eyes?!), and we had a lot of laughs about her number 3 falling over every few moments. Ishaan [Plainfield, IL Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Ishaan's cozy in home newborn session took place right after Christmas, and I loved the cozy, intimate feel we created with these images. I'm always amazed how great new moms look, and Shantha was no exception! Ishaan was a perfect little model, sleeping the majority of his session, and we even got their dog Lady in on some photos (the one of her snuggling while Shantha rocks Ishaan in the nursery is a fave!!). Do you prefer photos of the baby alone, or with the whole family?

Holly, Jeff, and Elliot [Chicago Family Photographer]

My dear friend Holly, along with her daughter Elliot and new hubby Jeff [see their beautiful wedding HERE!] were visiting her family around Thanksgiving so we decided to take some studio portraits while they were here! 

These guys are some of my favorite photo subjects, and we always have so much fun. We did a combination of family and couple shots, and they are so darn photogenic it was hard to figure out which ones to post on here!
