The B Family [Chicago Extended Family Photographer]

This session was a gift to Joanne and Dan from their children (and grandchildren) for Christmas! I LOVE when families decide to do this! Pro tip: You get tons of photos from these sessions, each family, all the kiddos, etc. It's the BEST holiday gift for any parent or grandparent, just sayin'.

We had a fantastic (but unseasonably warm) session - I felt bad for the poor guys in all of their sweaters!! We took photos at their lake house, as well as on the beach near their home. The K Family [Chicago Family and Child Photographer]

The K family had a beautiful summer day for their Veteran's Park session this past summer, and we even squeezed in some time to play on the playground at the end (pretty sure that was Daniel's favorite part!!). Do you prefer summer sessions like this one, or do you like the beautiful fall leaves? I really can't decide, there's something about a summer night that I just love, plus you get to pick wildflowers which Maddie seemed to love!

The L Family [Murfreesboro, TN Family Photographer]

Joy contacted me earlier this year about doing a session in Murfreesboro, TN on the charming square, and since I was planning a trip to Nashville it worked out perfectly to coordinate a session! I was also super flattered because Joy is also a photographer (Joy Stillings Photography, check her out!) , and although I was super nervous (as I get before every session, but particularly when it's a fellow photographer) she was beyond sweet and so easy to work with!

Joy and Frankie's family was just a ton of fun, and when I asked them how they describe their family they said "huggy" which I agree with 100%! You can tell these four love each other dearly, and aren't afraid to show it, which makes for amazing photos full of connection and warmth. It was such a pleasure to photograph and meet this beautiful family!
