Holly, Jeff, and Elliot [Naperville Family and Child Photographer]

Time flies, doesn't it? I met Holly right after she had Elliot, and some days I can hardly believe her little girl is so big! It's been great getting to know these two through the years, and I'm very thankful to call Holly one of my dearest friends.

This year their session was kind of a combination family and engagement session, as Holly and Jeff will be getting married next year! We had one of the last gorgeous days this fall out at the orchard, and finished up at Rapid Creek Cidery. I just love how these turned out, these three are completely adorable, and you can really see how happy they all are. Here are some of my faves!

The S Family: Father & Son Lifestyle Session [Iceland Lifestyle Photographer]

Ok, wow, I can barely believe it's been so long since my trip to Iceland! It feels like I was just there, but I definitely have been itching for another trip somewhere soon. This was one of the lifestyle sessions we did while there - James and Hudson modeled for us on a black beach surrounded by greenery, rocks, and a beautiful lighthouse (which you'll see more of in a future post of an engagement type session we also did here!). This was a lot of fun to photograph, and I felt very much in my element with this session. I just love capturing the natural interactions between parents and their children, and how cute is Hudson's little Icelandic sweater? He had no fear, climbing and running to the water's edge. I don't know how he wasn't freezing after getting his feet and bum wet sitting on the edge throwing rocks in, but he was loving every minute.

The B Family: Day in the Life [Naperville Lifestyle Photographer]

So many Day in the Life sessions lately you guys, and my heart is exploding with happiness! For the B family's Day in the Life, Stacy joked that a real day would be trying to shop at Target with two kids in tow, or maybe grocery shopping on a busy Saturday. Yikes! Well, instead of that adventure, they chose to bake cookies with the kiddos (Lachlan ate most of the dough - kid after my own heart!) and carve the pumpkins that they would set out for Halloween. We also spent a little time in the backyard, sadly it was too chilly to be out there for long! Here are some highlights from their session!
