George [Iowa City Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Sweet George. How cute is this little peanut?! This session was fun because I met Stephanie when I photographed her in a wedding, and she also is good friends with another bride of mine. Small world! :) George was a great model for his first professional photo session, giving us both bright eyed and sleepy baby photos. Which ones do you prefer? I love them both, but have a soft spot for the wide awake ones!

Lindsay + Drew [Coralville, IA Maternity Photography]

Let me start this post by saying if wildflowers and puppies are wrong, I don't want to be right! I don't think anything could have made this session better to be honest - oh wait, add in a gorgeous mama to be and her awesome hubby! Lindsay and Drew are expecting their first little one - a baby girl - in early September. This session was fun for me as I've been dying to do a wildflower shoot ever since last summer when I discovered this amazing location! I had a blast photographing these two, and can't wait to meet their baby very soon at her newborn session!

Ryder [Iowa City, IA Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Cheryl and Tyler are not only clients, but great friends of mine! It's been so much fun getting to know them because of photography - starting with their engagement, wedding, and maternity photos and now documenting the newest addition to their little family! Meet Ryder, named after Cheryl's maiden name (how cute is that?!), and the sweetest little thing I've ever seen. Cheryl and Tyler requested that I not edit out the milk on his face in the first photo, and I'm so glad they decided to keep it in! Even their cat Charlie cooperated for a photo or two!

Thanks to Cheryl and Tyler for being a part of my life, and my business. I can't wait to photograph more milestones for you all as Ryder grows.

Taylor + James [Iowa City, IA Wedding Photographer]

Taylor and James had one of the most picture perfect weddings ever, in the beautiful Outing Club in Davenport. The sunny yellow walls of the venue looked perfect against the white flowers, candles, and greenery courtesy of the talented Shelly Sarver Designs. James is from Scotland, so the bagpipes, attire, and the plaid ribbons around the programs as well as Taylor's bouquet were a nod to his heritage (seriously, how great is that kilt?!) and the day was full of laughs and happy tears.

Thank you to Taylor, James, and their family and friends for making it such a wonderful day to be a part of!
