I met Emily this past winter when she did a fabulous Mary Kay facial for me, and also the super talented Kayla from Tru who cuts my hair and does my eyelash extensions (plus hair and makeup for my new mamas at their newborn session!) is her cousin. When she asked me to take her family photos, I was super excited! Emily, Zach, and Issac had a beautiful (albeit a bit chilly/windy on the ped mall) fall day for their session in downtown Iowa City. We started out on the ped mall and then made our way over the Pentacrest where we found the most beautiful fall leaves for Emily and Issac to play in. I hope you all love this sneak peek, aren't they such a gorgeous family?!

Kinsley [North Liberty, IA Newborn Lifestyle Photography]
I've been so lucky to photograph several squishy, snuggly newborns lately and I couldn't be happier. Some may say my baby fever is raging out of control, but I like to say it's just my "Aunt Jen" instincts kicking into overdrive. ;) In any case, Kinsley's session was awesome and this little peanut is just so sweet, I could have photographed her all day! Jessie, Andrew, and their pup Zoey welcomed Kinsley on October 9th, making her just 8 days old for her newborn session and she did a fabulous job for her photo debut.
Jessie and Andrew - thank you SO much for choosing me to photograph this incredible time in your lives! It has been so fun getting to know you and congratulations again - Kinsley is beautiful.

The S Family truly had the perfect fall day for their session at Lake MacBride, and we had a great time with Lindsay, Brian, Steele, and Crew. Steele was so much fun, keeping us on our toes for sure, and telling us about turtles and throwing rocks in the lake.
