The J Family + Ellie: Age 2 [Coralville, IA Maternity, Child, and Family Photography]

I've been photographing this family since Elizabeth and Eric were expecting Ellie, and now she's 2! Seems like time just flies by, and now they are expecting their second child. Photographing a family as they grow is one of my favorite things about this job, and these guys are some of the best people I know. I can't wait to meet their new addition, but until then, check out these adorable photos!

Sloane: Newborn, Part Two [North Liberty, IA Lifestyle Newborn and Family Photography]

Sloane's lifestyle newborn session took place when she was just 8 days old, and this little sweetie was a perfect model. Big brother Colin also made his photo debut, and had a great time laughing at all of Coelle's animal impressions (which I still haven't seen but apparently they are hilarious, maybe someday...). I loved every single part of this session, and Shelby looked AMAZING - seriously, can you believe she had a baby 8 days prior?

Sloane: Newborn, Part One [Iowa City, IA Newborn Fresh 48 Photographer]

Shelby and Joe, along with their big brother Colin, welcomed this gorgeous little peanut on February 7th. Shelby had inquired about whether or not I would be willing to come and get some fresh 48 photos a day after the birth, as newborns change so fast and she wanted to document this time. I just loved the idea, and so the day after Sloane was born, I stopped in and did a quick session, as a precursor to their regular newborn session (coming soon on the blog as well!).
