The B Family [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

A couple of Fridays ago, on a windy but gorgeous October evening, I got to hang out with the absolutely gorgeous B Family. Not only is this family beautiful, but so kind and fun!! Olivia, Isabel, Anna, and of course their golden-doodle Charlie kept me on my toes throughout the session, which was awesome. I definitely wish I could bottle some of Isabel's energy, she was cracking me up and bursting with energy the entire session. She also made Josh feel pretty special, chanting his name repeatedly. ;)

I asked each of the girls what their favorite things were - Isabel said "Hershey's", Olivia said "I-Carly", and Anna said "Bubble Guppies". :) So cute, these three!!









Amy and Rodrigo were telling me they've been together since they were 17 years old. Pretty awesome if you ask me!! :)

Myelle: 3 Years [Bend, OR Child and Family Photography]

I love this family, and I was so excited to visit them in Bend, OR where they moved a year and a half (or so) ago from the Iowa City area. Lindsay had been telling me for awhile how beautiful it was out there, and she did not exaggerate at all. It was absolutely breathtaking, stunning, perfect...are those enough adjectives to give you an accurate picture of how I felt about Oregon? I did not want to leave!!

Myelle is a wild woman, and I love that about her. She's smart and funny, creative and energetic. I just adore this little girl. I love photographing her, and seeing her running with the mountains in the background was the highlight of my visit. :)

Lindsay and Adam - Thank you so much for inviting me out to Bend to stay in your home. It was such a fun trip, I can't wait to come back. I miss you guys terribly, I hope you love the photos so far!

Jordan + Bret [Iowa City, IA Engagement Photography]

Bret and Jordan met while they were both attending the University of Iowa, and after noticing this gorgeous girl on Facebook, sent her a message that said something like "Hey Jordan, tell me again the story of how we met. It gets me every time." Humor, as you may know, is always the key to winning a lady's heart (at least in my opinion). Now these two are planning a September 2014 wedding in Cedar Rapids, crazy how life works sometimes! :)

Jordan and Bret's session took place on a very chilly morning a couple of weeks ago, and despite the cold, I had a great time hanging out with these two. Not only are they gorgeous, but I'm seriously considering asking Jordan to just be my personal shopper - these two have amazing style. I am sure their wedding will be equally fabulous, and I cannot wait.
