Tia + Austin [Kalona and Coralville, IA Wedding Photography]

Tia and Austin were married on a rainy, and unusually cool July 5th in Kalona, with a reception following at the Holiday Inn in Coralville. These two met when Tia participated in the Ladies Football Academy, and Austin was one of the coaches, though Austin's aunt knew Tia and they both knew of each other prior to meeting in person.

These two were engaged when Austin proposed to Tia in the Hawkeye locker room, so we stopped at Kinnick for photos between the wedding and the reception. Thankfully there was a break in the rain and we were able to be outside for a bit!

This was such a great day, not only are Tia and Austin adorable together, but are so incredibly kind. I know I say that about every wedding couple, but I do always mean it!! I feel so lucky to have such wonderful clients who make me feel welcome at their wedding, which makes the day so fun. The entire bridal party, and all of their family and friends were so wonderful to be around - Tia and Austin are lucky to be surrounded by such great people!!

Top Gun is Tia's favorite movie, and their dog is named Maverick. Austin surprised her with a serenade of "You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling" - joined by his groomsmen and Tia's male relatives.
