Waverly: 6 Months [Iowa City Child and Family Photographer]

Sometimes things don't turn out the way we planned, such as this shoot with my niece Waverly. Mom and Dad really wanted some photos of her by herself to document her 6 month milestone. This little peanut had other ideas, as she sobbed every time she was by herself for a photo (very unlike her normal smiling, happy demeanor!). These images may not be what we set out to capture, but I love them more than any "perfect" photos because there is a story behind them!
