Jenna + Dan [North Liberty, IA Engagement Photography]
Jenna and Dan braved the gnats for their Kent Park engagement session two weeks ago, and were such troopers despite the bugs and muggy weather. These two are planning a November wedding, and I am so thrilled to be a part of their day. I hope you like this sneak peek of their engagement session!

The S Family [North Liberty, IA Family Photography]
I met Andrea after perusing Etsy one day and noticing that the newborn headband I was looking at was made by someone in North Liberty. I contacted her, we met for coffee, and the rest is history! :) Since then, Andrea has been a great friend to me, and is very talented as well (check out her work at her Etsy shop Forever Handmade - you can also buy her items at Itsy Bitsy Boutique!). I was so excited that she and her husband Jake chose me to photograph their little family this fall, these two are so sweet together. Their dog Rowdy was nothing less than a perfect model during the entire session at Kent Park, and I saw later on Facebook that he slept quite well that evening!
Andrea and Jake - thanks for allowing me to photograph your family! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek.
My favorite!
Handsome pup!

Tara + Joe [Tiffin, IA Engagement Photography]
Last weekend Josh and I met Tara and Joe at Kent Park for the most gorgeous Sunday afternoon engagement session. The leaves were still vibrant in areas of the park and I had the sweetest, most loving couple to photograph. I left this session with a huge smile on my face, not only because taking photos of people as much in love as Tara and Joe is the best part of my job - but also because I'm so thankful to have such wonderful clients.
Tara and Joe, you two are amazing and we are honored to be a part of your wedding in April. I think we got some really beautiful photos, and the love between the two of you is very evident. I hope you love this sneak peek, thank you again for a wonderful afternoon!
It's always so hard to choose a favorite but I think these first two are in a very close tie. I adore the way they are looking at each other in both of them - just beautiful!! In fact, I may have squealed in excitement after taking this first one. Haha.
This one is a favorite too, so sweet.

Reese [Tiffin, IA Children Photography]
Sweet Reese is turning 2 this month! This session was so much fun, Reese definitely kept everyone on their toes! I don't think I've laughed (or ran) that much in awhile! It was such a pleasure getting to spend time with this cutie and her parents Jenn and Bill last Saturday. Definitely a bright spot in the day despite the monsoon-esque storm we had earlier that afternoon. Thanks to the entire C family, I hope you enjoy your preview!!
Although it's hard to pick a favorite from the day, this one is definitely in the top two. What a cutie!!
Reese loved to twirl in her tutu (purchased on Etsy), it was simply adorable!
Another one of my faves - her expression cracks me up every time!
Reese loved looking out on the water, and the bridge was great for jumping too!
I also love these next three images, can you tell I had a hard time narrowing images down for this post? I love them all!
Oh I love this one too! Who am I kidding, it's impossible to choose a fave (or even a top 2). :)
