Allison + Rob [Coralville, IA Engagement Photography]

I was keeping my fingers crossed big time for good weather for this engagement session with Allison and Rob, as Rob is in the Marines and was only home for a brief window before heading back to California. Luckily, we had a beautiful night and ahhhmazing sun flare - so much goodness - for their session at Fossil Gorge.

I had met Allison prior to the session, and adored her, so I wasn't surprised when I met Rob and thought he was fantastic as well! I am SO beyond thrilled they chose us to shoot their October 2015 wedding. :) I hope you guys love this sneak peek!

The Z Family [North Liberty, IA Family and Child Photography]

I met up with the Z Family on a beautiful Sunday evening for their family photos, and we had so much fun. Turns out, they know my husband Josh's family, though I had never met them - so it was very nice to finally meet a family I'd heard a lot about!

The C Family [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

It is always a complete joy to photograph this family! Not only are Jenn and Bill super kind and fun to chat with, but Reese LOVES the camera (and it loves her too!). We had a great time hanging out with these three and capturing some photos of their family to document Reese's 4th year but also Jenn and Bill's upcoming wedding anniversary!

Kyle + Mike [Tiffin, IA Bella Sala Wedding Photography]

Kyle and Mike's Bella Sala wedding took place on a sunny, warm June day at Bella Sala in Tiffin. I've been looking forward to this wedding for awhile now, I just love these two! The pink and purple color scheme was absolutely gorgeous - and the bridesmaid/flower girl dresses were made by Kyle's insanely talented mom Helen.

Their wedding was held outdoors in front of the waterfall at Bella Sala, and the reception included nods to Mike (and maybe even Kyle's...?) love of hunting with the bridesmaids donning camo and orange for their grand entrance. The toasts were so much fun - I particularly loved the speech given by Tim, the best man - and the rap performed by Eryn, Kyle's sister.

Kyle and Mike are so genuine, gracious, and as you can see - so beautiful and very handsome!! It was a pleasure to spend the day with them and their family and friends. Enjoy the sneak peek!
