Greta [Naperville Lifestyle Newborn Photographer]

Man, newborn sessions will always have my heart! I just love hanging out with new, squishy little babies, and their families during this special time. The best thing about lifestyle sessions? It's relaxed, easy, and you don't have to cart your new baby and all of their stuff to a studio. Plus, if you have older children like Elsie here, she can play with her normal toys, have a snack, watch TV...whatever, while we take photos that she might not be in! Plus, you get really cozy, sweet photos of you loving on your babe in your home, and someday that will mean a lot to him/her. Sounds like a win-win to me, right?

Greta was awesome during her session, and so was big sister Elsie. Even though one of these photos (probably my favorite one ever) suggests she is not too into having a sibling, she really does love that little peanut! Which photo is your fave?

Jack [Naperville Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Sweet little Jack was an absolute rockstar for his newborn session back in January, and I had so much fun spending a snowy afternoon with him and his parents (and their adorable pug Petunia, who I definitely considered dog-napping). It was pretty hard to narrow down photos for the blog post, because when you have that much fun, you take way too many photos! I included some pics featuring the dog model Petunia, who definitely thought the session was for her instead of cutie pie Jack ;) and the gorgeous nursery as well.

Ishaan [Plainfield, IL Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

Ishaan's cozy in home newborn session took place right after Christmas, and I loved the cozy, intimate feel we created with these images. I'm always amazed how great new moms look, and Shantha was no exception! Ishaan was a perfect little model, sleeping the majority of his session, and we even got their dog Lady in on some photos (the one of her snuggling while Shantha rocks Ishaan in the nursery is a fave!!).
