After portraits, they launched into cocktail hour which was enhanced by music from Sortin' The Mail, followed by the most insanely delicious tacos that I've EVER had, and then an open mic hour. This was AWESOME you guys! It started off with Alex and Ginny singing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" which of course, they crushed. It was just such a cool way to start off an hour of people sharing musically (they have some seriously talented friends!) and toasts. After that, the Otis Redding & James Brown cover band rocked the barn. Honestly, it was such a gorgeous, awesome day - I wish I could go back and photograph it all again! It was such an honor to document the love these two ladies have for each other.

Alex + Ginny [Emily's Ten Oaks Ranch, Madison Wisconsin Intimate Wedding Photographer]
Where do I even begin with these two? Alex and Ginny's intimate Emily's Ten Oaks Ranch wedding was amazing! It was intimate, personal, and really showcased the most important thing on a wedding day - love and relationships. The day started off with an intimate ceremony with all of their closest friends and family, followed by portrait time around Emily's Ten Oaks Ranch where they have horses, goats, pot bellied pigs, a buffalo, and...KANGAROOS. (Guys, I did not know how insane I was about kangaroos, but you learn something new everyday right?!)

Holly + Jeff [Rapid Creek Cidery, Intimate Iowa Wedding Photography]
Holly and Jeff have a unique story, they met when they were teenagers and dated for a time, but life happened and their paths took them in different directions. They reconnected many years later, which culminated in this beautiful, intimate wedding day last month. After a morning of rain, we were blessed with a break in the showers for the rest of the day (seriously, the rain stopped right as I was pulling into the venue). I'm so thankful because with clear skies we had the opportunity to get so many beautiful images of this stunning couple!
Not only is the couple gorgeous, with chemistry for days, but Holly's daughter Elliot made the most adorable flower girl! When Jeff presented her with a ring during the ceremony I think everyone's hearts just melted, and I may or may not have cried myself.
Holly and Jeff, the two of you were meant for each other!! I am so thrilled to have been a small part of your day, and I wish you both continued happiness as you spend your lives together!
