Megan + Remy [Naperville Pet Photography]

My friend Megan just got a new puppy at the beginning of December, a little Havanese named Remington, or Remy for short. I couldn't resist that little face, so we did a photo shoot where my ultimate goal was to steal him, but I settled for puppy kisses and snuggles and gave him back in the end. Here are a few of my favorites from their mini session!

Jordyn + Austin [Naperville Maternity Photography]

Jordyn and Austin are expecting their first little one in February, and we took their maternity photos on one of the last warm(ish) days before the holidays. How fantastic is that red dress in photos? Seriously perfect, I love all the movement we got with the dress in the wind and it popped so well against the wintery landscape!

The P Family: Day in the Life [Naperville Lifestyle Family Photographer]

I spent an awesome morning with the P family a month or so ago (seriously, where did the fall go?!) photographing their lives. Day in the Life sessions are so much fun, because you really can see each child's personality in each photo. It's also wayyyy easier for families that have high energy little ones, because there's no stress about posing and making sure everyone looks perfect. This was so much fun, and how cute is their puppy? They named him Teddy because he 100% looks like a life size bear.

During this session we captured real moments of them playing, coloring, reading books (perfect selection of the "The Tickle Monster") as a family, and cooking up some pancakes and mac and cheese for lunch (because really, who can decide between the two? Why not have both?!). So. Much. Fun.
