Megan + Remy [Naperville Pet Photography]

My friend Megan just got a new puppy at the beginning of December, a little Havanese named Remington, or Remy for short. I couldn't resist that little face, so we did a photo shoot where my ultimate goal was to steal him, but I settled for puppy kisses and snuggles and gave him back in the end. Here are a few of my favorites from their mini session!

Clara [North Liberty, IA Pet Photography]

Sweet Clara. This girl is a bit timid when you first meet her, but if you have treats she will quickly become your best friend. After hanging out with her at her home for a bit to get her used to me and the camera, we ventured out to Lake MacBride for some photos. I can't get over her adorable face!! Plus, she shares a name with my sweet girl, what's not to love?! Here are some of my favorites!

Opie [North Liberty, IA Pet Photography]

I adore pet sessions so much, they truly make my whole day better. For this one, I met Opie and Amanda out on the trail for an early morning photo session a little over a week ago. This dog is just the cutest thing ever, and being that he's only 3-4 months old (he was a rescue, so age is approximate) Amanda wanted to capture some photos of him in puppy stage. We walked all along Squire point, stopping at a few of their favorite spots for some photos of Opie doing his favorite things - looking adorable, chewing on sticks, playing with his ball, and cuddling with his human. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Willow [North Liberty, IA Pet Photography]

It's no secret that I love dogs, so when Dr. Streeter from the Eastern Iowa Veterinary Specialty Center contacted me about photographing her beloved Willow, I jumped at the chance. I adored this session, meeting and hanging out with this sweet old pup, and I hope to do more sessions like this in the future. :) I hope these photos bring a smile to your face today too!



One thing Willow loves? Having something in her mouth, constantly. She is a retriever after all. ;)

Zeke: 1 Year [Coralville, IA Family and Child Photography]

Zeke just turned 1 and I can't believe it! Seems like just a few months ago I met this little guy and his parents for his newborn session. I'm sure the year went even more ridiculously fast for Stef and Jerrod! It's such a fun part of my job to see the little kiddos grow and change from session to session.

Zeke loves his four legged sister Breckenridge, so she came along for the shoot as well and those big smiles on his face - those were all thanks to her!

Nora: 1 Year [North Liberty IA Child Photography]

I can't believe Nora is one already!! Today is her actual 1st birthday, and we took these photos last Saturday (despite the crazy swarms of gnats!!). Nora is an absolute doll, as you can see, and I just love her smile. I have been friends with Stacy and Matt for several years now, so I keep telling them I'll just borrow her to get my baby fix. We're still in negotiations. ;)

Of course, an M family photo session wouldn't be complete with out Mocha, their super sweet Maltese pup (and Einstein's girlfriend).
