Leo: 1 Year [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

I've been photographing this adorable family since Max was still in his mama's belly! Dave and Melissa were my first EVER maternity session, and I've been honored to photograph their family through the years. I just adore these guys!! We celebrated Leo's one year milestone with a photo session, and it was great fun hanging out downtown with these guys. I hope you enjoy these highlights from their session...

The B Family [Coralville, IA Extended Family Session]

My coworker Megan was looking for a Christmas gift for her parents last year, and around Christmastime I typically offer a mini session at a discounted rate - which you can purchase as a gift card and use when the weather gets warmer. Anyways, she purchased that for her parents and so when the weather got warm, we got together for some family photos! These guys were so much fun, and what a gorgeous family (and sweet too!). I love when families take the time for photos, even when their children are grown and starting families of their own. Photos are always an amazing gift, and you will never regret doing them - I promise! ;)

Guys. Seriously, I am the worst. I keep meaning to blog, but since starting a full time job my priority has been getting my clients their galleries. However, it's Labor Day weekend and I didn't schedule ANY sessions and so it's my goal to get a ton of blog posts done and ready to post. Saracen was named after a character on the show Friday Night Lights, which is a show Ciara and Dustin love to watch together. He is SUCH a cute, calm baby and was a perfect model for the newborn shoot. How gorgeous are these three?! Here are a few of my favorites...
