Megan + Justin [Lake MacBride Engagement Photography]

Megan and Justin (along with their adorable huskies Miya and Ruby) had a beautiful evening at Lake MacBride for photos, and the leaves had just barely begun changing (so we got a little taste of fall at least!). We started out by the dock, and then headed over to the dam where Justin proposed to Megan.

These two are planning a May 3rd wedding on the 8 year dating anniversary, and I feel so lucky to be a part of their wedding day. I know I say this frequently, but I have the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful clients and feel so blessed. Megan and Justin are not only totally adorable, but so funny and sweet.

Megan and Justin - thank you so much for choosing me to document this time in your lives!! I am so thankful to have met you both, and I hope you like this sneak peek!

The W Family [Coralville, IA Family and Pet Photography]

I first met Carissa after seeing her photography on Facebook, I believe we got together for coffee and closed down the Starbucks. Since then we've gotten Marius and Clara together at the dog park, and dinners out. I finally met Brian a few weeks ago, and the rest of the puppy + kitty clan (Jack, Suki, and Etta). I adore this family, and the more I get to know Carissa and Brian, the more I find we have in common. These two have become great friends, and I was so thrilled that Carissa (as I mentioned, a fellow photographer - check out CTW Photography, she and Tanya are fabulous!!) asked me to photograph her sweet little (furry) family.

We met at Kent Park for their session on a gorgeous evening last week, and had a fabulous time laughing, puppy wrangling, and of course I left wanting another dog + a tiny kitten. Maybe I'll just borrow theirs...though I am contemplating stealing Jack, he's just such a sweetie. I just love him.

Carissa and Brian - Thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph you guys! I've had so much fun getting to know you both better recently, and I always have the best time with you both. I hope you like this sneak peek! :)

Love this one! These two are adorable together.

The C Family [Coralville, IA Family Photography]

This family booked me earlier on in my photography career (2011 I think), so it was great to see them again this year! One of my favorite things about taking photos is seeing how the family has grown and changed over the years. Ben, Matthew, Abby, Emily, and Jenna are some of the most well behaved, polite, and sweet children I've ever met. These guys made my job so easy, they were absolutely perfect models. Vicki and Jason have done a fabulous job of raising them, truly, these kids are awesome.

Vicki & Jason (and family!!) - Thank you guys so much for a fabulous session. You guys are the best, I hope you like this sneak peek!

Ben is in junior high, and talking about getting his learners permit in the future, and Abby is quite the dancer - she showed off some of her ballet moves for me and they were awesome! cupp-blog-1

I know one thing for sure about Matthew: he is impossibly ticklish (and everyone in the family knows it, using it to their advantage whenever possible). cupp-blog-2

Jenna has really opened up since the last time I saw her, and she told me about her favorite thing to do at preschool (matching) and that she's going to be a clown for Halloween. And Emily's pink glasses - um, LOVE! She has tons of personality, I can tell. ;) cupp-blog-3
