Ericka + Nick [Iowa City, IA Old Capitol Museum Wedding]

Ericka and Nick were my last wedding of 2013, and it was a perfect way to end the season. They were married on October 12th, an absolutely perfect fall day, at the Old Capitol Museum with their reception at the Sheraton downtown. The colors Ericka chose, navy, gold, accented with bouquets filled with orange and yellow were perfect for the setting.

Ericka and Nick met at the University of Iowa, and are now residing in San Francisco where Nick is working as a lawyer and Ericka is finishing up law school. These two are not only gorgeous, but some of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are also clearly very loved, surrounded by tons of friends and family on their big day.

Megan + Justin [Lake MacBride Engagement Photography]

Megan and Justin (along with their adorable huskies Miya and Ruby) had a beautiful evening at Lake MacBride for photos, and the leaves had just barely begun changing (so we got a little taste of fall at least!). We started out by the dock, and then headed over to the dam where Justin proposed to Megan.

These two are planning a May 3rd wedding on the 8 year dating anniversary, and I feel so lucky to be a part of their wedding day. I know I say this frequently, but I have the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful clients and feel so blessed. Megan and Justin are not only totally adorable, but so funny and sweet.
