The B Family [Iowa City, IA Family and Child Photography]

This family is always so much fun, I look forward to seeing them every year!! Laughlin has gotten so big since I did his newborn photos last year, and Laine has turned into such a big girl! This session included a lot of laughter, as Harvey took a dip in the lake and the bugs were insane, but we had a fabulous time.

The S Family [North Liberty, IA Family and Child Photography]

Fall somehow turned into winter (though it still feels like fall, yay!) and I have been super busy photographing so many lovely families. Since I'm finally getting time to blog again, I figured I'd start where I left off!

Andrea, Jake, and their little guy Lance met me at the lake on a beautiful fall evening and we had a great time playing in the leaves and doing goofy things trying to get Lance to laugh. Here are a few of my favorites!

Whitney + Zach [Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, IA Newman Center and Kirkwood Hotel Wedding]

Whitney and Zach were my last wedding of the year, and what a great day it was! I had a fabulous time at their engagement session last fall and their wedding was even better than I had hoped! The day was rainy but the drizzle cleared away prior to their scheduled first look at the Newman Center, and the sun came out at the perfect time for their photos downtown.

The reception was held at the Kirkwood Hotel in Cedar Rapids, and after several very touching toasts, Herky appeared to dance with Whitney and her Iowa dance team alumni. Such a fun way to end the night, and a great way to end my 2015 wedding season. Congrats again to Whitney and Zach - may every day be as full of love as your wedding day was!
