I figured I should probably blog this one before my new nephew arrives...so here is a session I did this past summer with my adorable (yes, I'm biased, but dang he's cute) nephew Waylon and his parents, my brother Joe and his wife Ashley.

We ended up with a perfect night, and did the session on the property they recently purchased and plan to build a house on in the future! Waylon was feeling pretty shy, but Dad always comes in and gets the best smiles! Here are some of my favorites...

M Family [Naperville and Iowa City, IA Family Photographer]

I know I say this about all of my clients - but these guys are the CUTEST. I met Georgie and Soren back in April when I did my Let Them Be Little minis in Iowa City, and just adored them, so I was so beyond thrilled when Courtney asked if I would be available to do a fall session for them. We rescheduled due to a gross gray (semi-rainy) day back and ended up with this gorgeous sunny, fall day. Here are some of my favorites from their mini session!

Edie [Iowa City, IA Lifestyle Newborn Photographer]

Oh how I love newborns, and it's worked out schedule wise this year to photograph several past Iowa clients' sweet new babies!

Do you wonder what the advantage is to an in home newborn session? You and your family get to hang out in the comfort of your own home, and it's super relaxed and easy. For example, with this little family, big brother Guy is almost 3, and rather than trying to entertain him in a strange studio space, he could take breaks or play with his toys and have a snack when he wasn't needed for photos! Super easy!
