Rivers [Iowa City, IA Lifestyle Newborn and Family Photography]

Sweet Rivers. I am not sure what to say about this adorable family that I haven't already said many, many times on the blog. Bottom line - I adore this little family. Spending time with them is always full of laughs, and this session was no exception, as you can see in the photos! Julian is an awesome big brother, giving plenty of head rubs to baby Rivers, and these two are going to have so much fun together over the years. Congratulations again to Coelle, Chris, and Julian on their new addition!

Cake & Whiskey Magazine

A couple of months ago I had the pleasure of photographing Erin Brenneman of Brenneman Pork for Cake & Whiskey Magazine. This session was one of my favorites to date, not only because Erin is wonderful and fascinating, but also because while I was shooting I got to cuddle and even deliver a baby pig! It was such an amazing experience, and photographing people who are doing what they really are meant to do, is so inspiring to me. I am so blessed to have met Erin and to have been selected to photograph her doing what she loves.

New Hardcover Books for Portrait Clients!

I recently changed the hardcover books that I offer to my portrait clients, and I just received my 5x5 sample yesterday! It is so gorgeous, these photos really do not do it justice. This one has grey linen on the spine and back, though there are a ton of color options in various finishes. I also offer this book in an 8 1/2 x 11 (sample for that coming soon!). Porter [Iowa City, IA Lifestyle Newborn Photography]

This cute little guy was so much fun to photograph, and wow does he look just like his mama! Ciarra and John welcomed their son Porter on June 26th and I had the pleasure of photographing their little family a few weeks later. These three are so photogenic, and Ciarra & John are hilarious, making the session super fun.

Make sure you take a good look at Porter's adorable nursery that Ciarra designed - I think a new career could be in her future!?! I know if I ever have a baby, she's at the top of my list of people to call for nursery decor help!
