Jennifer + Brett [Cedar Falls, IA Wedding Photography]

Jennifer and Brett were married on April 26th, a beautiful but slightly windy spring day in Cedar Falls. Their ceremony took place at the Orchard Hill Church, followed by a reception at the Hilton Garden Inn. The purple, green, and white colors Jennifer chose looked gorgeous, and I couldn't get over her beautiful jewelry and dress. Jennifer was a beautiful bride & Brett was a very handsome groom - but more than that, these two are incredibly kind as well.

Chef Gaby + Erika [Mother & Daughter Series #4 - North Liberty, IA Lifestyle Photography]

I have a great time at all of my sessions and weddings, but this one was extra special for me. I truly adore Chef Gaby, and her daughter Erika is just as wonderful! Gaby wanted to incorporate cooking with her daughter into this session, showcasing the two things she loves most in the world. There's something very energizing and inspiring about watching someone do something they are meant to do - the joy seems to just radiate out of them. I've had the privilege of photographing many small business owners who have this same kind of energy and it's one of the best parts about my job.

Gaby and Erika, thank you thank you thank you for choosing me to photograph this session for you guys. I had a blast hanging out with you both, and watching you cook together. I'm very thankful that our lives crossed paths, you two are the best!

Holly + Elliot [Mother & Daughter Series #3 - Coralville, IA Family and Child Photography]

On Friday, Coelle and I met up with the gorgeous Holly and her sweet Elliot girl at Lake MacBride for Coelle's 3rd practice session and another in the series of Mother/Daughter sessions. The photos below are a mix of Coelle's and mine, we had such a beautiful night and so much fun with these two.

Again, Coelle continues to impress and amaze me. This girl has talent and I'm lucky to have her on my team! :)
