The R Family [Shorewood, IL Maternity and Family Photography]

This session was so much fun you guys! Katie Jo and Tyler are expecting baby #3 in May, and so we documented this milestone with a maternity session on one of the few warm(ish) days we've had so far this year. Katie Jo is absolutely glowing!! I know that so much gets said about that beautiful golden light that appears in the fall, but there's also something to be said about that cool pink toned spring light that I just love!!

We may not have had green grass and lush trees, but that just allowed this gorgeous mom to be and her adorable family to shine. I mean, how cute are Penelope and Elliot? I can't say it enough - this session was a blast, and just reminds me how lucky I am to do this as a job. Somebody pinch me!

Jordyn + Austin [Naperville Maternity Photography]

The K Family [Naperville Family and Maternity Photography]

This family is so fun to photograph every year - Kinsley is so full of personality and I just love how sassy she is! Jessie and Andrew are expecting baby #2, so this was a combo family and maternity shoot, two of my faves. It was truly the perfect fall day, and the location we used had gorgeous leaves everywhere. Ashley + Joe [Iowa City Maternity Photography]

I have to say, it's really cool when you get to become an aunt, and I am excited for nephew #3 to arrive. However, I also feel extremely old because my baby brother is old enough to have kids of his own - how did that happen?!? Regardless, Ashley is a gorgeous mama to be, and we snapped a few maternity photos when we were all together last month. I can't wait to meet baby B very soon!
