Max [North Liberty Newborn Photography]

You might remember Melissa and Dave from their maternity session we did back on a gorgeous day in March. They weren't finding out the sex of their baby until the birth, so I was anxiously awaiting an update once the baby was born (along with their family and friends, I'm sure!)! Sweet baby Max was born on April 25th, just slightly ahead of his due date.

We got together at Melissa and Dave's home for the newborn session this past Saturday and it was wonderful to see their little family's new addition. As always, it was so difficult to narrow these down for the blog! I found myself drawn to the more lifestyle type shots, how can you resist the looks these two give their precious little boy? I hope you enjoy the preview!

Melissa and Dave met playing volleyball, and wanted to incorporate some shots with Max and the volleyball. I just love this one.
